Game Design Document

The Game Design Document project was to create and develop a video game idea.  This was done through the development of a game design document that includes information and concept art about the game.  It is used in the industry to organize and pitch a game idea.  I chose to create a mystery crime game based on a detective who travels through different dimensions.  I gave it the title of The Next Dimension.  Below is the game design document along with the concept art.

Pictures of two game locations: Detective's office and Speakeasy

UI designs for an avatar design platform, a notepad that collects clues, and a case file.  The notepad and case file can be accessed throughout the game unless the player chooses to turn the notepad off.  

Two in-game pictures.  The first picture shows the detective speaking to the player in his office.  The second shows the cursor going to click on a clue, shoeprints, located in the speak easy.
