Google Doodle
The Google Doodle project was to create a animation in the style of the famous Google homescreen doodles. It was to be based on a famous figure from history and highlight their achievements.
I chose to showcase the "king of rock and roll" Elvis Presley. He developed a distinctive performing style that was first disapproved of, but later made him a historical icon. Elvis incorporated music created by the African American groups around Memphis into his career. His musical style brought blues music to a mainstream audience. Additionally, he was an actor in various films (including Jailhouse Rock) and served in the U.S. Military. He had a home in Memphis, Tennessee called Graceland. Today Graceland is a public attraction that is occasionally still used by his family.
